Last year we moved into a home that had an encapsulated crawlspace under the house. The previous owners were using CrawlSpace Doctor to perform annual maintenance. The company contacted us to inquire if we wanted to renew the annual contract and we did. The annual inspection consist of changing filters, cleaning coils, and flushing drain lines on the dehumidifier that’s in the crawlspace. They also inspect the sump pumps and discharge lines. They inspect the humidity control system to ensure its continued effectiveness. This is something we knew we would not know how to maintain. I am so glad they contacted us to renew the agreement. We feel better knowing someone with knowledge of this type of system is maintaining it. The annual inspection included a printout of what was checked, to include pictures taken of the space, the readings for the moisture, to include the wood moisture. Also checked to ensure all seams were taped securely and batteries were changed on the reader in the crawlspace. Jarod was our inspector and he was very thorough about telling us what he inspected. Jarod was very professional and the pictures he took were great and very helpful since we had not been in this crawlspace. We were very happy with the service that was provided and feel good about knowing this space will be inspected annually. Jarod told us if we have any problems or any questions we can call on him. He was very friendly! We are very pleased! (I wouldn’t do this review if I weren’t.)
